Meet Matt Austin

Matt began selling for Union Grove Lumber, Inc. in November, 2009 yet he is not new to the wholesale lumber industry. Matt brings with him 5 years of experience in the buying and selling of lumber products.

Matt lives in Statesville with his wife Natasha. He enjoys playing golf and hunting when he's not working on a never-ending remodel of his 1920s home.

Matt has an avid love for the outdoors that was cultivated in the Boy Scouts where he received his Eagle Scout award.

Matt received his Bachelor of Science degree from Gardner-Webb University after transferring from UNC-Wilmington his senior year. Prior to his work in the wholesale lumber industry, Matt was the co-owner/operator of Little Pigs Too in Statesville, which is a family ran barbecue restaurant.
